Nicole Farhi/Su Blackwell Collaboration

Yesterday I went via Nicole Farhi's Bond St store for a press event before heading home from work....... be rude not to nip in for a festive glass of champer's right???!!!!. So accompanied with my number 1 groupie..... My sister ha (Wendy your my number 2 groupie ha ha!) we lingered and watched the live band, well more of a solo artist really with a guitarist, (which I didn't manage catch a name of) but he was a flawless talent. Damn good singer!
The event was to celebrate the collaboration between  Nicole Farhi and Su Blackwell (a truly amazing intricate paper sculper and calligrapher). The title read...... ' When the Lady Hare met Sue Blackwell', Windows of the Bond St store were dressed with giant paper tree sculptures and smaller sculptures by Su Blackwell could be found inside.

Modern twist on the Christmas tree - Love it!

Sculptures by Su Blackwell.

The delightfull Jennavieve (aka groupie number one)

My name beautifully wrote by the steady hand of Su Blackwell.
